We have been working with our partner groups and organisations for many years and our volunteers worldwide currently contribute over 40,000 volunteer hours per week.
We value a diverse workforce and we welcome applications from all sections of the community.
All vacancies with Lattitude Global Volunteering are advertised on this website and are regularly updated on a post-by-post basis.
Lattitude Canada is looking for a organized and compassionate part-time staff member to join our team. Volunteer coordinators are the first people to work with new applicants to our program. They guide our applicants through the preparation process and on to departure. VCs conduct interviews, lead groups during our Pre-Departure Briefings, prepare visa information and guide applicants through the many steps required prior to their arrival in country as well as market the program. For a full list of duties and skills required for this position, please follow the link below.
Lattitude Global Volunteering North America is in search of new ambassadors to spread the word about our programs. These ambassadors schedule and deliver presentations at high schools and occasionally post-secondary institutions. Ambassadors are often the first to introduce the concept of a Gap Year to many of our volunteers and volunteer families. We rely on them to get our message out and educate young people about the benefits of taking a Gap Year.
We regularly have a number of paid internships available, usually in the summer months. We offer training and support as well as valuable work experience. Being a nonprofit, we welcome and rely on the hard work and support of our interns who provide a valuable resource for our team.
“… what an incredible experience I had a Lattitude this past summer. It was such a wonderful opportunity for me and I loved working with all of you. I felt so welcomed and it was lovely to be a part of the team! I also want to thank you for how much you all taught me ... I am so grateful for all of your mentorship and knowledge. Because of everything I was able to learn and experience with Lattitude, I have a new set of skills, experience and self-motivation to follow the career path that I love. … I am currently doing humanitarian work in India. I am working with multiple NGOs, providing them with my new knowledge and skills … I wouldn't be here without Lattitude's help. I have also been accepted at Simon Fraser for the spring term in January.”

We welcome volunteers both in high school and university to help us with specific projects. These are often completed as part of a service learning activity. Please contact our Regional Director, Cam Sylvester, if you are interested in volunteering or making these opportunities available to your students.
